Fish Pie

A theatre show by Colossal Crumbs. Welcome to the dingy, depressing life of Cuthbert, a lonely fish living in a dank corner of a miserable room in pond suburbia. Meet the infamous artist Ludwig (he's a prawn) who's struggling to make his most recent masterpiece. And join Myrtle (sea cucumber) in her dwindling one-woman crusade to save gherkins across the world. Three troubled characters, living in the same room but different time periods – can they still help each other or will their lives all continue on a downwards spiral? Colossal Crumbs invite you to a visual feast of folly and three tales of the unexpected - merging puppetry, animation and film all encompassed within the setting of a 1920s silent movie. The show is narrated with text, beautiful music from Matti Bye and an alluring French(ish) man. Tour will be starting in May 2013.
